My Japanese Poetry Tanka Assignment

Bellow I am posting the three tanka that I have composed for my Japanese poetry class. Enjoy.

The moonlight in your hair
so bright as in the nights
when we had been together.
The moon still shines vainly,
but where did you disappear?

The cherry blossom petals
fluttering through my dreams
will scatter. No regrets.
In all my lonely springs
that are to come without you.

If the long falling rains
that stand between us
could wash away my memories.
Would I be able
to breath freely again?
